Art is one of the main things of the world. Without, art most things wouldn’t exist. Like skyscrapers and houses because the builders have to look at diagrams so they know what they are doing. Art doesn’t have to be a picture it can be playdough, clay, pottery and ceramics even photography. There are lots of different types of art like dance and music, paint and clay and then you have your martial arts. All of these different types of art are all good for calmness and relaxation. But with all, art you at least need to have some kind of equipment, for a picture paint and pencils, music, instruments and so on.
Art is one of my favourite things to do especially ceramics. Ceramics are made with special stuff called slip. The slip is poured into a mould and left there for a certain amount of time and then taken out as a hard but still delicate ceramic and then put in a kilm. But even after being in the kilm it is still breakable but it is much harder than before. You can use different types of paint so you can use the ceramics in your everyday life or you can use different paint for different colours and textures. My favourite paint is the chunky paint that makes the paint feel funny. There is another paint that is called a gloss and it makes the ceramic usable and smooth. The thing is with most paint you need to recoat the paint. With different, coloured paint you need more or less coats than others.
A great way to get into art is to watch TV shows in the kids channel like Mr. Maker and things like that. Another thing that you can do is buy a sketching pad or get a piece of paper and search how to draw in steps. This is a great way to learn because you don’t have to go anywhere to have lessons. This is also a good thing because you don’t need much paper and it doesn’t cost much. All you need is a pencil and paper so you don’t need many supplies. And if you want more supplies then you can just make a quick stop and buy them at Paper Plus or another store like that.
When you get really good you can become an artist and sell lots of artwork and get money. Or you can put your art in museums like Leonardo Da Vinci did with the Mona Lisa. You can even become a Famous artist like Vincent Van Gogh and all the others. Being an artist is a big thing I mean look at Leonardo he painted the last supper for royals now that is what I call a special job. Lots of artists describe their feelings in their art and some even put in hidden things don’t you think that’s cool?
